Raised in small town in Maine, I graduated summa cum laude from Ithaca College in 2020, where I studied sociology and Spanish and was also an NCAA Division III athlete. In 2023, I obtained my MA in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University at Albany, SUNY.
Presently, I am a PhD candidate and Adjunct Lecturer at UAlbany in the Department of Sociology. My forthcoming dissertation examines the experiences of competitive transgender athletes during a rapidly-changing policy landscape.
I am currently on the market seeking a tenure-track or post-doctoral position in Sociology or Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies to begin Fall 2027.
